Iv Lasix
Iv lasix, Names are very powerful.
First, a name functionally provides a person a (relatively) unique identifier both as an individual and as a member of a family group.
Second, names can also serve as descriptors (usually of strengths) of or positions held by the person or entity named. For example, "Chief Sitting Bull" not only describes both an individual and links him to a community, it also connotes his position (chief) and identifying trait (like a bull). (My father even says he named me "Justin" because of its root, an idea which he so values and has committed his life to.)
However, the use of names as not only as titles but also as descriptors has declined in contemporary America. Perhaps the best examples we have left are professional sports teams, iv lasix. "San Francisco Giants." "Chicago Bears." "Portland Trailblazers." These names are powerful because they define the organizations in terms of 1) geography, lasix renal scan washout time, and 2) a descriptor. This creates community, shared identity.
In Silicon Valley, however, it seems as though a different algorithm is used to decide upon the name of an organization. If MBAs are on board in this discussion, they use words like "brand" and "positioning". Iv lasix, If the company is still comprised only of engineers, you'll get something that literally describes the function of the company's core product. If the CEO is feeling insecure about the technology the company is developing, then lots of X's, Iv lasix in homecare, Y's and Z's are used and a good graphic artist is hired.
But why don't founders ever give their companies names like professional sports teams. Are the internal benefits of community and identity that can be realized by this naming convention always less valuable than the marketing benefits of simplicity and consistency realized when the company shares its name with its products, which are themselves named for positioning/branding purposes.
Have any CEO's out there ever tried this. What if a molecular electronics company were called The Sunnyvale Sultans, iv lasix. What if a security software company were called The West Coast Waveriders. Would those be cool places to work. Would the culture be devoted and energetic. Would employees see the organization as a community. Iv lasix, Would the local community be more supportive of the company.
Ultimately, I believe a name has spiritual significance, that it is both a title and symbol of deep unique existence and identity, interlase lasix. It is a pointer to a person that indeed contains the presence and manifestation of God. It can be invoked to create powerful feelings of love or hurt. No, a name is not just a URL for people.
